Our goal is to make TVAccess21 one of the leading public access channels in the country.
We are "the people's voice" in the community and that voice will be one of which all Mecklenburg County residents can be proud.
TVACCESS21 currently features two studios, control rooms, master control and two edit suites.
We employ four full-time people and two part-time people.
The Executive Director manages the day-to-day operation.
The Charlotte Mecklenburg Public Access Corporation (CMPAC) is a private, nonprofit corporation that was incorporated in May of 2000 for the purpose of operating the public access channel (ACCESS 21) on the Time Warner cable system serving Mecklenburg County and the City of Charlotte.
Our mission is to provide facilities and education that welcome and accommodate individuals to create and submit programing that expresses diverse opinions, talents, activities and interests in the Charlotte metropolitan area through noncommercial open access television.
